Our dry-type BTB transformers are manufactured up to 52 kV and 25,000 kVA and meet the requirements of international standards (IEC). The design also complies with the EU Ecodesign directive. Designs to other national standards (ANSI, BS, etc.) are available on request.

Our dry-type transformers can be manufactured with open, vacuum pressure impregnated (VPI), or cast resin windings.

The dry-type BTB transformers we offer are manufactured mainly in Italy. Our partner there has extensive experience in transformer manufacturing and works with the latest technology in modern production facilities. Custom design
If you need something other than a standard model, we are flexible and can accommodate various requirements. Custom models are made to order and handled as individual projects to ensure all specific requirements are met.
With a custom design, we can offer the following features, among others:
- Dual primary or secondary voltages
- Adaptation for special applications such as: frequency converters, rectifiers, furnace, motor start, wind turbine, marine, etc.
- Different vector groups and phase displacement
- Temperature rise adjusted to the ambient temperature
- Higher insulation level with increased resistance to lightning and overvoltage surges
- Enclosures to customer requirements with various ingress protection classes (IP ratings) up to IP68
- Surface treatment for demanding conditions
- Cooling fans for forced air cooling (ANAF) with increased rating
- Voltage regulation with motorised on-load tap-changer
- Higher insulation class (e.g. class H/H)
