Circular economy in practice
Our business model supports responsible consumption
BTB Transformers operates as a global marketplace for transformers. When an existing, functional transformer can be reused, fewer new materials are needed, less waste is created and projects can move forward faster.
By helping customers find technically suitable used and surplus transformers, we support circular economy thinking in a practical, measurable way.
- Extending product lifecycle
- Reducing unnecessary new production
- Supporting efficient use of existing assets
- Helping customers balance cost, speed and environmental impact
How sustainability works at BTB

Impact areas
Where we create impact
Our sustainability work focuses on environmental, economic and social responsibility.
Positive impact
Our clearest positive environmental contribution comes from the sale and reuse of second-hand transformers. Reuse helps reduce waste and lowers the need for new manufacturing.
Main area to improve
Our main negative environmental impact is linked to transport, including logistics, customer visits, factory visits and personnel travel. This is an area we continue to monitor and improve.
Guiding principles
Our policies and commitments
