Circular economy in practice

Our business model supports responsible consumption

BTB Transformers operates as a global marketplace for transformers. When an existing, functional transformer can be reused, fewer new materials are needed, less waste is created and projects can move forward faster.

By helping customers find technically suitable used and surplus transformers, we support circular economy thinking in a practical, measurable way.

  • Extending product lifecycle
  • Reducing unnecessary new production
  • Supporting efficient use of existing assets
  • Helping customers balance cost, speed and environmental impact

How sustainability works at BTB

Environmental responsibility

Reuse of second-hand transformers is our clearest positive environmental contribution and supports circular economy goals.

Certified systems

We began developing our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems in 2020 and secured certification in 2021–2022.

Global responsibility

Our work is guided by the UN Global Compact, ethical business principles and long-term responsibility across our network.
