Jan Backman Appointed MD of BTB Transformers Ltd.

Jan Backman has been appointed as the new MD of BTB Transformers Ltd, from August 11, 2025. Jan Backman most recently served as the Sales and Marketing Director at WE Tech Solutions Oy. Previously, Backman has served as the CEO of Fluid-bag Oy and as a Project Manager at Wärtsilä Oyj, among other roles.

He has extensive experience and a strong background in the electricity and energy sector, in management and sales positions in SMEs, and in project management. Jim Stenman has successfully served as the company's MD for a total of 20 years since its founding. Stenman will continue to serve the company in the role of sales director.
